The pliers — the heart of this multitool — have been reinforced with added steel in key areas, making them the strongest pliers ever produced by Leatherman. The rolled handle edges are easy on the hands, and the large openings on the sides of the handles offer easy access to all the tools even when wearing work gloves.

The ST300 also features three wire cutters for stranded, hard and regular wire. And the removable wire cutters can be sharpened with the tool’s file, or replaced (replacement cutters sold separately). Other tools include: an electrical crimper, 420HC knife, 420HC serrated knife, wood and metal file, saw, three different sizes of flathead screwdrivers, Phillips screwdriver, awl with thread loop, 9-inch ruler, bottle opener, can opener, wire stripper and lanyard ring. Each of the tools located in the handles locks securely in the open position with an audible click, and can be returned to the closed position only after depressing the large release tab at the end of each handle.

Leatherman’s slogan is “Now you’re ready.” Indeed.
